Our story
Founded in 2021 by James Asquith, the Global mission is to take passengers back to the Golden Age of Travel, reinvigorating the onboard experience with elevated
service and products across all three cabins; First, Business and Global Traveller. Central to Global’s proposition is the A380; the most loved aircraft in the sky. Global Airlines has focused on its first fully acquired A380, 9H-GLOBL, which has now flown passengers, testing our product and service and helping us to develop the next stage in the Global story.
Taking flight
Since May 2024, 9H-GLOBL has completed 20 test, repositioning and customer flights. These flights have been incredibly valuable in terms of testing, gathering essential information and refining our operations. None more so than the flights in May 2025 that took us to New York JFK from both Glasgow and Manchester. All four flights, operated by Hi Fly, provided critical insight and experience as we continue to prepare for future flights.
